The Studio

Borealys Games is a new studio based in Montreal, composed of industry veterans and passionate young developers. It was in early summer 2014 that two entrepreneurs and old friends decided to join forces to realize their dream: to set up their own video game company. It is with the help of a small team of 18 hard workers that they successfully delivered Mages of Mystralia.

The game

Mages of Mystralia is an action-adventure set in a lively fantasy world in which you can design your own spells.  The intuitive yet powerful spellcrafting system will enable you to design a nearly limitless number of spells to solve puzzles and combat enemies.

The comic

We decided to share the entire backstory and give people a chance to immerse themselves in that world. We worked with two of our favorite webcomic creators to bring this to life: Brian Clevinger (Atomic Robo, 8-Bit Theater) is the writer, and Carey Pietsch (Lumberjanes, Adventure Time) is the artist.
